Trogon Painted Feather

This is a bird famous to Arizona, the Elegant Trogon, well known to many as the only native bird species in the US in the Trogonidae family. It is a bird that is sought after by many veteran birders, and can only be found in Tucson Arizona and farther south.

Acrylics and oil on turkey tail feather. I'm not too happy with the moon. Awhh well. I feel that the bird himself actually came out brilliantly though, not to sound conceited or anything.
