Title: "The Three Degrees of Liberty" or "Liberty!" for short. and YES. These are painted on REAL feathers. It's not a photo manipulation. 
This is actually a submission to the group All Art Support's contest, appropriately titled "Liberty." For more information, click this [link]
To me, a very patriotic person, there are three degrees of liberty through which one can express oneself.
At the top, there is the Liberty of feeling PEACE and contentment.
On the bottom, there is the Liberty of feeling proud, and valiant.
On the right there is the Liberty of feeling anger, and challenging those who oppose you.
